What CureMyBill is

CureMyBill is an automated document-assistance tool. You upload a copy of a US medical bill; we extract the billed line items, compare each one to the corresponding Medicare national reimbursement rate published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), and generate a dispute letter you can send to the billing provider yourself.

Not medical or legal advice

CureMyBill does not provide medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice. The letters we generate are template correspondence based on publicly available Medicare rate data; they are not a guarantee of any specific outcome, discount, or bill reduction. Medicare's national rate is a public benchmark, not a legal ceiling on what a provider may charge. You are responsible for reviewing any generated letter before sending it, and for your own decisions about your medical bills, insurance, and finances.

Accuracy of extracted data

Bill data is extracted automatically using AI and may occasionally misread a code, amount, or name. Please check the extracted figures against your original bill before generating or sending a letter.

Payment

Standard and Pro plans are one-time payments for the features described on the pricing section at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, acting as our authorized reseller (Merchant of Record). Paddle handles your payment details, invoicing, and applicable sales tax or VAT — we never see or store your card details.

Acceptable use

You agree to use CureMyBill only for bills belonging to you or someone you're authorized to act for, and not to use the service to submit fraudulent, forged, or knowingly false information to any hospital, insurer, or third party.

Limitation of liability

CureMyBill is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any outcome resulting from your use of a generated letter, including a provider's response, non-response, or any billing, credit, or collections consequence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by generally applicable consumer protection principles in the jurisdiction where you reside, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Payment processing and related financial terms are additionally governed by the terms of Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record.

2. Privacy Policy

What we collect

How we use it

We use your information solely to: analyze your bill, generate your dispute letter, verify the listed provider against the public CMS NPI registry, process your payment, and email you your finished letter. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train AI models beyond the standard processing needed to generate your letter.

Third parties we rely on

Data retention

Your uploaded bill and extracted data are not stored beyond what's needed to complete your session and deliver your letter. Records of a completed purchase (needed for receipts, support, and legal/tax requirements) are retained as required by law.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, or to delete it, by emailing us (see Contact section below). We will respond within a reasonable time.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). California residents have the right to request access to, deletion of, or correction of their personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

3. Refund Policy

Because CureMyBill delivers a digital product (your generated letter) immediately upon payment, purchases are generally final once the letter has been generated and delivered.

That said, if something genuinely went wrong on our end — for example, a technical error prevented you from receiving your letter, or the letter was generated with clearly incorrect information due to a bug — email us within 14 days of purchase and we'll make it right, whether that's a corrected letter or a full refund.

Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We do not offer refunds simply because a hospital did not respond to, or did not agree with, your dispute letter — that outcome depends on the provider, not on CureMyBill.
